We Save the Future by Preserving the Past
That has been our mission since 2016; we’ve used our passion for resin technology and preservation to serve our neighbors, cities, and planet. Our Epoxy Techs utilize epoxy resins plus dyes and molds to eliminate the need for wasteful, expensive, and inconvenient home renovation projects. Our
wood rot repair company reduces the landfill waste and carbon emissions of typical construction projects. Most of our projects are completed in less than 36 hours, saving the homeowner 90%.
So Far
Our Wood Rot Repair Company Has Saved Our Neighbors
We have a crazy goal...
to save America $500 Million in replacement costs by 2030
Preservan Values
- Affordable: We deliver massive value to our neighbors. Our typical repair saves the homeowner 90% compared to a replacement renovation project!
- Convenient: Our vans and epoxy system allow us to start work immediately and be done in less than 48 hours! Our repairs are targeted and clean, so there is never any mess or unknown expense.
- Sustainable: We repair, NEVER replace! Unlike typical contractors with their lifted trucks, 40-yard dumpsters, and wasted materials. We drive fuel-efficient vans and produce less than 1lb of landfill waste per job.
Finding A Future in the Past
2014
2016
Ty left the family building business and launched his first wood rot repair company. He opened Wood Window Rescue with his wife, April, in January of 2016. It was evident from the start how great the demand was for repairing old windows across Oklahoma City. The Wood Window Rescue mission was “We Save the Future By Preserving the Past.”
2017
2017 was the year when momentum had begun to build. Ty and the wood rot repair company team spent most of the year filming a pilot for HGTV and restoring vintage windows in Oklahoma City’s historic neighborhoods. In September, Morgan Reinart, Ty’s brother-in-law, joined the team as operations manager to improve systems.
2018
The episode featuring Ty’s wood rot repair company aired in the fall of 2018, and it expanded the awareness and opportunities for Wood Window Rescue. The company was getting calls to expand into new markets and services. On one of these calls, the seeds for Preservan were planted. A homeowner challenged Ty to save a rotting wood window that was only 12 years old. The team was able to repair the window and save the owner thousands!
2020
2021
Over the next year, the team focused on efficiency, sustainability, and technician training. Out of this, a new wood rot repair company named Preservan was born. A convenient, affordable, and sustainable alternative to replacement. The company will repair wooden windows, doors, and more of wood rot, with industry-leading epoxy technology.
