Nate and Brianna, a husband-and-wife team, are proud parents of three boys and are thrilled to bring Preservan, specializing in wood rot repair, to the Emerald Coast of Florida! Nate is a dedicated veteran and entrepreneur at heart. After serving five years as an Armor Officer in the U.S. Army, including a 15-month deployment to Iraq, he transitioned to a successful career in corporate America, spending 13 years working in IT and coaching software development teams. Brianna has spent the past 13 years in the education field as an elementary school teacher, Assistant Principal, and instructional coach. She currently homeschools their three children and works part-time as a mathematics and leadership consultant for elementary schools. Quality resin repairs should be completed in five steps: Step one, remove soft wood. Step two inject wood with a liquid epoxy consolidate. Step three, fill the area with moldable epoxy clay. Step four, sand and blend repaired area. Step five, apply a UV protectant to the repaired area.
Our wood rot repair process will vary depending on the condition of the property. Typically, our EpoxyTechs can complete an average size project in just 36 hours!
If you think there are termites in your property’s wood rot, it’s still necessary to get it confirmed by an exterminator. Unfortunately, we don’t do termite removal as part of our wood rot repair process, so we kindly ask that you get them removed before your appointment with us.
Repair costs can vary but most jobs cost less than $1000, with the average repair being a fraction of the cost versus replacement!
