About The Franchise/Franchisee
Originally from West, Texas, Ben earned his Mechanical Engineering Degree from Cal Poly in 2007 and kicked off his career testing aerospace hardware, with components he worked on now on the moon and orbiting Mars. Along the way, he earned his PE license in Texas. Ben later joined Virgin Orbit as a principal engineer, where he mentored young engineers and led pad operations—becoming the last person to touch the first rocket before launch! His next adventure took him to Venus Aerospace, where, as the first employee, he helped grow the hypersonic startup from three to over 70 people. Now based in the Bishop Arts District with his cats, May and June, Ben founded Preservan Dallas to dive into a new field and be closer to family. With Preservan, he helps neighbors with high-quality, affordable repairs, while ensuring his team earns fair wages and benefits. It’s a win-win, and he loves crossing paths with satisfied clients in the community!
